2 hours of Blissful Yin Yoga with Ruth Timms
The purpose of this workshop is threefold. Firstly, it will give you an opportunity to relax and recalibrate as finding time to slow down and rest is particularly important for wellbeing during the deep winter months. Secondly, we’ll use the yin postures to release any areas of tension or stagnation and thirdly, you'll be guided through an experience of mindfully exploring the inner landscape of your own body/mind so that you can practise being present in the moment. All postures will be sitting or lying and held for at least 3 minutes. We’ll use plenty of props to find just the right amount of stretch as we invite body, breath and mind to slow down, release and come into a peaceful, meditative state.
